In literacy, we have been learning about how a writer gets an idea to write about. We went outdoors to look for inspirations. Among our discoverings, we found a flower, a butterfly, a man cutting down a tree, and ant crawling on the ground.

- We are a laboratory school in the education department at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. Our classroom is made up of 39 Kindergarten - 5th graders, 4 full time certified teachers, plus many student teachers and 2 pet rats - Jujube and Jezebel.
